Circular Axolotl Aquarium Blueprint in Minecraft

And if you're having difficulty following the video tutorial, here's a very informational blueprint guide for you! First, let's get into the materials that you'll need so that you're prepared for this build! These are all the required materials for you to construct this project! Remember that we replaced the Glass Panels with Glass Blocks to protect your Axolotls from dying! So let's get started!

Step 1: Blueprint Pattern

Here's the layout for this build. Take time to follow it carefully to mitigate mistakes! And this is how it should look like. We used Dark Oak Wood for the base of this build!

Step 2: Make a circular outline for both sides.

This was achieved by using twenty-four dark oak stairs for both circles! Take your time and copy this layout. After that, decorate it with trapdoors and buttons for details and depth.

Step 3: Make the terrain with a combination of Sand and Coarsed Dirt!

Placing coarse dirt along with sand will not only make your build more pleasing to see, but it will also help aquatic plants to grow! So be mindful of that part.

Step 4: Close the back part of your aquarium

Align the stairs with the previously placed pattern. The same goes with the wooden blocks to get a perfect symmetry!

Step 5: Make the front panel of your aquarium

The circular panel in the front differs from the previous one, so remember to copy this form. The glass pane from this picture is replaced with glass blocks.

Step 6: Finish the walls and covers of your aquarium

Now connect the back part to the front part of the aquarium. Note that we changed the glass panels to glass blocks for the safety of the axolotls. The gap from the meetings can kill the axolotls, so it's better to use glass blocks for this build!

Step 7: Decorate the exterior of your aquarium

Note: With the glow berries, you might want to use shears so they won't grow! Do this decoration again with the other side and proceed to the next step!

Step 8: Fill your aquarium with water!

Remember to fill your aquarium with water block by block for a more aesthetically pleasing result.

Step 9: Make the roof garden!

You can also decorate this aquarium however you like! Placing different kinds of flowers is also recommended!

Step 10:  Decorate the interior of your aquarium

Adding sea pickles can gives additional light source for your Axolotls, so remember to pick one whenever you encounter them.

And the last step: Add your lovely pet Axolotls!
