Just like Skyrim, Fallout 4 does not have any co-op or multiplayer mode, which makes you feel a bit lonely at times. I have seen tons of Fallout 4 fans on modding forums asking for a simple multiplayer mod that could make their game a bit less lonely. And you will be pleased to know that your prayers have been answered!
There’s finally a Fallout 4 multiplayer mod that allows you to tag a friend along for the ride. Tilted Online is a framework that is developed to allow multiplayer mode in the two most popular Bethesda games; Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout 4. If you’re wondering what the name is, the multiplayer mod for Fallout 4 is known as Fallout Together and is a work in progress.
However, it’s in a pretty great state to play with your friends. Here’s how you can download the Fallout 3 multiplayer mod in 2021.
How to Download Fallout 4 Multiplayer Mod 2021
Follow this step-by-step guide to download and install Fallout Together mod for multiplayer co-op mode:
Step 1: Go to the Mod’s GitHub Page and Navigate to the Actions Tab
Go to the official GitHub page of Tilted Online and click on the Actions tab.
Step 2: Find the Build Windows Button
Once you open the Actions tab, you will find a “Workflows” sidebar on the left. Click on “Build Linux” or “Build Windows” according to your operating system.
Step 3: Open the Latest Workflow
You will find a list of multiple workflows. Open the latest workflow created by the “master” branch.
Step 4: Download the Workflow File
Once you open the latest workflow, scroll down to find an “Artifacts” section. Under that section, click on “windows-latest-x64-releasedbg” to download the file.
Step 5: Unzip the Downloaded File
Unzip the downloaded folder to find a list of files. Open the .exe file that is named as “TiltedOnline.exe”.
Step 6: Select the Game
Once you open the .exe file, a window will open up giving you a list of options for the games. There are two options, one for Skyrim and one for Fallout 4. Enter the number of the game and press the Enter key to continue. In the case of Fallout 4, enter the number “2” and then press the Enter Key.
Step 7: Select the Game Executable
Finally, select the .exe file of Fallout 4 named “Fallout4.exe”.
That’s it! The game will start, allowing you to play it with Tilted Online. You can now play Fallout 4 in multiplayer mode with your friends!
