2. Local Multiplayer

If a PC player wants to control the NPC, they will have to be in the Spectate Mode (F3). You can hijack the NPCs in this mode by pressing the ‘X’ key. When you do so, you will come across an alive NPC that you can control.
By default, the NPCs will lock onto other players when they are attacking or being controlled by the AI. You can disengage them by pressing the middle mouse button. Press the Tab button to lock them onto your closest enemy.Â
