This mode is actually a world generation mod, and it’s main feature is that it creates Villages in more biomes and in more biome variants, from Plains, Savanna, Tundra and many more!. It’s author TheWeatherPony did such a good job that Mojang took a lot of inspiration from his mod and implemented it in Minecraft 1.14 update

That’s the opening quote for this mod, and it summaries this mod to the smallest detail. This mod helps you create entirely new villager professions, which is perfect for custom maps, roleplays and servers! You can also add new careers for existing professions, for example, you can make a trade for farmers to buy hoes from you for an emerald!
The best part of this mod is that it’s very easy to add/remove trades and create custom villages but the mod also supports trading items with metadata and NBT data, items with a random potion or enchantment effects, multiple-choice trades and trades with a percentage chance of occurring.
JEI Villagers Minecraft Village Mod

Helpful Villagers does just as the name says, it adds a new mechanic to the villagers. They are no longer walking trading posts (they will still keep their trades), now they can follow your orders and collect items for you!
This mod is a very old one, it was created in 2015 but the mechanic of Villagers being our servants is still a very impressive and interesting one! We’re actually sad that Mojang didn’t try to implement a system, for example, if you become the Major of the Village you can order them or something like that! That mechanic should be a far end game stuff so that it’s balanced but it will also create a natural competition on Minecraft servers!

We all know that pain when you try to put a villager into a specific area and we all know how annoying their pathing can be. This mod will give you a rest from that because with this mod, Villagers will follow a player that holds emerald block (The same way cows follow you while you hold a wheat). Moving Villagers will be your favorite job after you install this mod!
Village Taverns Updated

Village Taverns adds some new structures to the Minecraft villages. In addition to the original new village structure, the tavern, it adds three more buildings: a barn (in two variants) with sheep, a stall/stable with a horse and a bakery. First three buildings are self-explanatory but the bakery is where you can buy all your sweets (cakes, cookies and plain old sugar) as well as bread. It buys most of the raw materials used for it, like sugar cane, wheat and eggs.

This mod is and old project of the player known as TheLarsinator. Not long ago, this was a go-to mod for better experience with Minecraft villages. Unfortunately, TheLarsinator stopped working on it and the other mods pushed it to the side. This mod is for the 1.7.10 version of Minecraft and now has an Open Source code on GitHub so if anyone of you wants to know how to create your own mod we suggest you to check this open source code!
